Ew, you got that from a thrift store?

Yes, I did!  Many people get the wrong impression from buying clothes or shoes from a thrift store.  It's dirty, and it's weird that someone else wore it before you.  Um, hello?  We didn't invent washing machines and rubbing alcohol for nothing, and the shoes are usually in pretty good shape. If not, no worries.  Just stick some rubber insoles in them and you're good to go!  Here are some great youtubers that are constantly making thrift videos.

This is Grav3yardgirl, a.k.a. Bunny!  She's one of my absolute favorite youtubers of all time.  Her unique sense of style is one that no one else can pull off.

These two funny characters are Melissa (left) and Stephanie (right). They are called thefashioncitizen.  Best channel to go to for DIYs and thrift hauls.  They give great style advice as well!

Justacurbsideprophet, or Lauren, is perfect for the 90s inspired and grunge style.  She uploads thrift videos more frequently than others, and they're always quality.  Want a little edge to your closet? Watch Lauren's videos!

Model Appreciation : Agyness Deyn

 A blonde-haired beauty that I genuinely admire, Agyness Deyn is one of my favorite models.  With her seriously awesome ability to pull of the short, blonde, punk hair cut, color-changing eyes, and a heart-breaking smile, it's not hard to fall in love. I'd describe her style as flawless, but we're all different.  She finds a way to mix grunge, a tom-boy kick, and flirtatiousness into one package. Androgyny has never looked better.

F***ing Beauty Gurus

Youtube is filled with aspiring musicians, comedy acts, and tons beauty gurus.  Once in a while, I'll come across a guru that's completely different from the rest.  It's rare but they are out there!  One of my absolute favorites is a youtuber called Icallitambrosia.  Her name is Rachel Whitehurst (I think). Not only is she a beauty guru, but she involves her viewers in her personal life at college, at home, and with her adorable boyfriend!  I haven't even told you the best part, though.  How often can you find a grown-ass woman that can cuss up a storm and still look classy?  Yah, this bitch does it all.  Her vivid vocabulary is what keeps me going to her channel first every time.  Oh, and her awesome fashion and makeup videos.  Check her out on tumblr too!

 This summer is one of the hottest we've seen yet!  To keep cool, the bustier top style is making a come back.  In every color and design, bustiers can be found in name brands or in your local mall.  The best places to find these for a pretty price are at Urban Outfitters, Pacsun, and Wet Seal.  Pair with high wasted shorts, a skirt, or under a tank top and you're ready to tackle any type of heat.

Shoes to Die for : Vivienne Westwood Pirate Boots

 Ugh, how many dreams of these boots I've had.  Chances of me actually having these are about.. 1 in 294 million. Even if I had the money, how could I justify paying over 700 bucks for a pair of boots? I'll leave that to the more fortunate.  Celebs seen wearing these designer shoes include Kate Moss, Miley Cyrus, Kiera Knightly,  and Sienna Miller.  I have to say, they pulled them off incredibly.  I'll remain jealous for now, but Vivienne hasn't seen the last of me!

Omg, that shirt! But where can I buy it?

 I always find fashion inspiration on tumblr.  Sometimes, I'll see a shirt, a pair of shorts, or even accessories that I fall in love with.  Where the heck can I get it from?!  One of my favorite blogs is seeitwantit.  This blog makes finding these "lost" items as easy as reciting your a, b, c's.  If you're looking for something specific, you can submit the image accompanied by a link to a promo of the sight.  If not, then browse the main page until something catches your eye or click one of the links on top!  It's super easy.  Who knows? You might find a piece that was designed just for you!

Fashion Inspiration: Sky Ferreira

An upcoming singer/songwriter, model, fashion icon is Sky Ferreira.  From her hair color to her vintage  Doc Martens, everything about her seems unreal.  I envy her fearlessness when it comes to fashion.  One day she's as grunge as 2-week-old sofa pizza, next she's walking the streets with a red carpet swag.  Who better to base my closet off of then Sky Ferreira?
